This is a unique exercise program for children. Dmitri Roudnev, former Bolshoi Ballet dancer and Olympic cross trainer originally developed these exercises for Olympic skating competitors (who went on to win the gold medal in the last Winter Games). He later made changes that led to this special strengthening program for children with mild disability. Each class begins with static exercises that balance the upper body. Then through slow motion exercise, set to classical music, the child builds strength in the lower back and legs. The program gives children newfound strength and improved movement. Please email Children’s Ballet for specifics on this program.
